Game 1 saw the Indian pairing get off to a good start, but the French pair also ensured that the match didn’t run away from their grasp. The crucial turn occurred at the 17-17 mark, when Dewalkar and Sawant won three points on the 20-17 up and seal 3 game points, which they would convert a few moments later to go 21-18 up in the first game.
The second game proved to be a more topsy-turvy affair, but it was the Indian pair who once again took control of proceedings, winning 4 points on the trot to go 19-15 up and eventually took the game 21-18 to book a place in the final four.
They will now face Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino in the semifinals
